El arpía (Harpia harpyja), una de las aves de presa
más fuertes del mundo y la de mayor tamaño, es una cazadora nata. Gracias a
sus cortas alas puede maniobrar fácilmente en el aire y sus enormes garras le
hacen capaz de arrancar monos y perezosos de las ramas. Los perros y cerdos
pequeños también son presas fáciles para ella. El arpía puede llegar a medir
91 cm de largo y habita en Centroamérica y América del Sur.
The Arpia Eagle is one of the strongest bird of prey in the world and of bigger size, it is a true hunter. Thanks to it's short wings, can manouver easily in the air and it's enormous claws make it able to grab monkeys an perezosos from the branches of trees. Small dogs and pigs are also easy prey for them. The arpia eagle can measure up to 91 cm long and lives in central and south america.
